Grosse Ile High School will be hosting their 4th annual Charity Week from March 9th through March 13th. Throughout the week, the GIHS Student Council will put on numerous events from which they hope to raise $15,000 for two charities, including the RockCF Foundation. Grosse Ile High School hosted their first Charity Week 3 years ago, inspired by the one hosted at Troy Athens High School .
One of the main events, considered a staple of the Charity Week, is the Volleyball Tournament scheduled for Thursday Evening. Student Council President Alex DeSana says The Volleyball Tournament is usually our biggest source of money for the week so we are really hoping to draw a big crowd.
